My exposure to the commissioning trade started as a HVAC commissioning engineer, something I loved from the outset it’s fair to say I was hooked from day one!
When a once in a lifetime opportunity to work internationally came about, I jumped at it, and the experience and exposure I gained from my 7 years in the UAE were unbelievable – not only the mega projects I was fortunate to be involved with, but also the different cultures and people I touched base with daily was simply amazing. Back to the UK and I was fortunate to undertake the role as Regional Commissioning Manager for SES Engineering Services before the birth of ENVIRO.
ENVIRO has grown progressively and sometimes aggressively, all of which has been way above my initial thought process. My love for the industry and now for the company grows every day. With the updated technology in our trade and the efforts to become more efficient, commissioning will be the driving force for all stages of project development – and with our drive to become a leader, the future looks bright, the future looks blue & green!
Having started my services career as a Water Treatment Engineer, I quickly understood where I wanted to go and progressed into Commissioning Management.
This led me eventually to the MEP sector and MJL, even becoming Commissioning Director in the business. This allowed me to review the entire operations of the business, drive and structure our processes, and create a nationwide in-house team of circa 20 commissioning staff. My relationship with Kirk & ENVIRO was as our support partner on large scale or specialist projects.
The MEP sector is where my heart lies. I believe myself, Kirk & the ENVIRO team are set to provide a unique service to the construction industry and I am looking forward to the future.

“We engage with ENVIRO to provide commissioning management support for our factory acceptance testing both in the UK & abroad, ENVIRO always provided good service and go above and beyond to support our business, even with sometimes short notice for deployment.
As well as multiple deployments in the UK, ENVIRO worked in partnership with Armstrong in China for a “first of a kind” test on a large cooling plant skid, this work included upfront review of the test rig and methodology, through to practical completion of test, with ENVIRO being the test integrator on behalf of Armstrong demonstrating the test to the client teams.”
